Staff Orientation Day 1

Good morning
This is Vinny
Day 1 of staff orientation
Brenna met me & Sully at white river junction with Christian’s van. She picked us up & brought us up to camp.
As Brenna drove, Sully & I kept the energy alive by telling stories & supporting with directions.
When we got to camp we unpacked & joined a meeting. I met the other Junior staff Kyson, Maya Rose, & Jenna. After that I was shown my cabin.
After I unpacked I went back to the main lodge & joined the staff meeting, one of multiple.
During the meeting I had a Cheeto bag break in my nbtsc hoodie pocket & that was…fun.
I cleaned it out later with soap once I took a shower.
Afterwards we had lunch & then another meeting.
I was a bit worried as I had commitments prior to coming to camp & I was wondering how I was going to contact people. Fortunately I put it off & focused on being in the moment. (I was able to contact who I needed to during a reasonable time period.)
After dinner we had another meeting about what intentions we were bringing to camp & connection time, then bedtime (yay!)
Before bed I had a shower & then hit the deck & went to bed.

Pulled up in Christian’s van with loose seltzers
Mercifully most of which had not burst
Put their bags in the Junior staff cabin
&
Took a nap in the quiet din
A nap of rejuvenation
Before the meetings began…
Meetings of mitigation
And food of satiation
And another meeting of rumination
&
Bedtime of … sweet bliss
