This was technically supposed to be sent off to J yesterday but I was told it could be sent at the end of the day so then I heard send it at that time and then I procrastinated and went to bed without sending it….
So anyways whats good gang its your girl Syrus Elliot and this is of course my long awaited (by many parties) blog post. I woke around 8:15 am and since wake up call isn’t until 9 am most my cabin was still asleep. Since I’m not a rude jerk I took extra care to be quiet and not wake them up when I went to brush my teeth. #humandecency After that I made tea in the lodge, around 8:45 I left to do wake up call with Sita (shout out my girl). My tea was still brewing so when i got back it was a little over brewed. I just stuck some honey in my tea and coped. We ate breakfast which was potatoes and Leander and I got the connections in the NYT with no errors whatsoever…
After that we went to morning meeting and then advisee. We pranked another advisee by stealing their advisee spot and kicking them out. It was great because we could hang out on couches instead of at the stupid campfire circle stupid Will picked out for us. Sydney brought us Highchews and we all checked in. I stayed in Forest Dell after that and listened to music at Perry’s music appreciation workshop. After that i went to my cabin to work on my prom ‘fit which still needed wings attached so I used safety pins. Then I went to lunch. I ate with the prom committee because I’m on prom committee because I’m cool and shit.
Anyways we talked about prom decor and how we were going to set everything up. Aubrie the awesome is our staff supervisor and Vic is our DJ. I gave Vic my song recommendations because I have awesome music taste and wanted to make sure the playlist was fire. After that Sita and I did physical therapy (which we totally do every day without fail and we never forget… Hi mom). Then in workshop slot 2 I worked on prom decor and got blue paint all over myself. I left halfway through workshop slot 3 to go get ready. Then I did my makeup in Andy’s Money workshop it was very interesting definitely in my top ten accidental podcasts. After that I had dinner and went to evening meeting. There were some songs made in Sully’s honor for his birthday which we all listened to.
Meeting finished so I helped set up prom with vibes and pure spite. I ran to my cabin after to get ready since there was enough time to get ready before prom. Once I arrived the party got started (it couldn’t start without me). They played a bunch of good songs; mostly the ones I recommended for the playlist, you’re welcome. I danced a bunch but my feet started to hurt so I took frequent breaks. I ate some yummy cake that was some kind of chocolate and fruit that I assume was blackberry but I couldn’t tell you. It was yummy and that’s what matters. We ended the night with Dancing Queen per Zoe JDP’s request (shes a culminator so you have to listen to her). Finally I washed my makeup off with Kiki and Lucy and went to bed.
